Jessica Cox

Are challenges stumbling blocks?
I read some where that most of us are like circus giant elephants. A giant elephant tied by a rope to a iron or wooden  plank ,  remains calm without trying to break free. Why does it not break free or even try to break free? The reason is from the time it was a baby it was tied up and could not break inspite of trying hard and has accepted "I cannot" .  This thought of "I cannot" is so strong in its mind, it is not able to come out of it even after it grew to become a giant elephant. "I can't! I can't!' is what it thinks and stays where it is.
Aren't  we like this ? Never trying to come out of challenges thinking we cannot. Are we ready to come out of our limitations?   Is it possible to convert challenges to achievements?
We should know about Jessica Cox to understand this better.
What all can a person born with out arms can do which a normal person with arms can do? Everything and much more! …..
Is it unbelievable ?
Then you Have to know about Jessica Cox to believe. Probably there are lot many blogs on Jessica and she has her own website too . But still... continue reading just because its truly inspiring to know about Jessica.
A living legend, Jessica Cox was born without arms and she can fly a plane, put on her contact lens, drive a car, use computer, has a double black belt in Tai kown-do, dance,  and above all is a born motivator and inspires people with her motivational talks.
Jessica's formula for success is "creativity + Persistance+ fearlessness = Everything is possible" . Jessica's parents William Cox and Inez Cox are definitely the foundation stones of her success.
The plane she flies is made and certified without pedals. It took her three long years instead of the usual six months to complete her lightweight aircraft licence. She had three flying instructors and practiced 89 hours of flying. Another evidence for her persistance in achieving what she wants.
Is it possible to convert our challenges to strengths. Yes... Today Jessica is a motivational speaker and is effective as a motivational speaker because she has lived the challenge herself which makes it easier for her to inspire others. She has used her challenge as a  path to success.  She did not have the usual mindset of "I cannot in her attitude" which had made her what she is today.
Challenges are not stumbling blocks but stepping stones for success.
